Celebrating 10 Years of Excellence: 2018-2019 Athletic Banquet

On Monday, May 13 the TLCA High School Sports Booster Club presented the 2018-2019 Sports Banquet held at the TLC Complex.

While over 300 attendees (Athletes, Families, and Friends) enjoyed a catered meal, they were treated to a wonderful message from motivational speaker, Cody Hodges, who formerly played quarterback for Texas Tech and professionally.

Upon conclusion of the message, Athletic Director, Coach Brent Rider directed the evening as each Coach handed out special awards to their respective athletes.

There were many wonderful awards and moments shared: Some highlights include: "The Fighting Eagle Athletic Scholarship" awarded to Kaiden Kirkland, Brianna DelaCruz, Delayna Smith and "Athlete(s) of the Year" awarded to Taylor Garner / Brianna DelaCruz

A special thanks to the Booster Club, the TLCA Maintenance Crew, individual volunteers who joined in, and TLCA Junior High’s 8th grade National Junior Honor Society for their volunteer effort. The evening was a tremendous success because of the collaborative effort of so many.
